Straight from our hives here at Mumbe’s Orchard & Bee Farm in Atlanta, IN!
We take a lot of pride in working with our bees to produce an excellent finished product that we know would make our bees proud! With our bees located within distance of several food sources, our honey is primarily “wild-flower honey” from local resources. During the extraction process, we run the honey through a filter to remove the large particles (chunks of honeycomb, etc.),
For everything that makes it through the filter, we continuously slow-age the honey with our top-secret process, known only to our very own Mumbe’s Honey Master(s). This lengthy, delicate, and painstaking process takes several months to reach perfection…but it is very much worth the wait!!
Once we’ve reached the ideal ratio of honey to honey crystals, the honey is then whipped into a smooth, creamy, spreadable mixture and bottled for your enjoyment!!
Hand collected, hand bottled, and hand labeled…we hope you enjoy our honey as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you!
